Dear Harborfields Community,

On behalf of the Board of Education, as well as the students and staff of the Harborfields Central School District, please accept my sincere appreciation for your support of the 2025-2026 School Budget.

Each year, the Board of Education undertakes the important responsibility of crafting a budget that not only sustains the district’s tradition of educational excellence but also advances meaningful opportunities and experiences for all students. This year’s budget supports both short and long term financial priorities while furthering the goals of the district’s 5-Year Strategic Plan, enhancing programs and services that meet the evolving needs and interests of our learners. The vision of Each Child, Each Day, One Harborfields Family is deeply embedded in every element of this spending plan, and we are deeply grateful for your continued trust and partnership.

I would also like to recognize and thank the candidates who sought a position on the Board of Education and demonstrated a genuine commitment to the future of our schools. Congratulations to Dr. Becky Dorsogna and Dr. Jeanette Wojcik on their election as Trustees. We look forward to their leadership and contributions in the years ahead. In addition, we express our deepest appreciation to Mr. Hansen Lee (12 years) and Ms. Colleen Wolcott (9 years), who have chosen to retire from Board service. During their tenure, Harborfields experienced significant growth and progress. Their steadfast dedication and selfless service have left a lasting impact on our district, and we thank them for their unwavering commitment to our students, staff, and community.

As we look ahead, I am excited to continue working alongside our Board of Education and the entire Harborfields community as we pursue new levels of excellence.
