Good morning TJL Families,

It’s hard to believe we’ve reached the final week of the school year! We’re looking forward to celebrating our 5th graders at Monday’s Moving-Up Ceremony—what a special milestone! As the week continues, please note that Thursday will be an early dismissal day, and Friday marks the official last day of school.

Important Info to Share

Delay is the Way- Post Event Communication

The Delay is the Way Parent Session on May 29th was a success. It was great to see our Harborfields community come together for such an important topic. Thank you to all who attended, and for those who could not be there, please click here to access resources and a video recording of the event!

 

6/23- Monday-5th Grade Moving Up Ceremony

Fifth graders must be dropped off at the main entrance of Harborfields High School by 9:15am (the latest). We will begin promptly at 9:30am. 5th Grade Families will receive a separate post today regarding moving up.
 

6/26-Thursday- Early Dismissal

TJL will start dismissal for pick-ups at 11:30am. Please come to the main entrance area if you are picking up your child and wait behind the cones. Students will come outside when we make the announcement. We will begin bus dismissal by 11:45 with the plan for buses to leave TJL by 12pm.

Lunch will not be served on this day. Please send in a snack for your child.
 

6/27- Friday- Early Dismissal- Last Day- Wear HF Colors!

Last Day of School! We will have an early dismissal with pickup starting at 10:30am. We will start bus dismissal by 10:45am.

**We will send out a digital pickup form tomorrow for our early dismissal days on Thursday and Friday**
 

Upcoming Heat Wave

Please know that while our students are in school, we are taking precautions to make sure all students and staff are staying cool. Outdoor physical activities will be modified to indoor plans. Teachers will send out additional information regarding any rescheduled or modified end-of-year parties. We will plan for indoor recess during the upcoming heat wave. Bring water and dress cool this week!

Safety Drill Notification

As part of our commitment to ensuring the safety and preparedness of our students and staff, we will be conducting a safety drill within the next week. The purpose of this drill is to ensure that everyone is familiar with our emergency procedures and can respond quickly and effectively in the event of an actual emergency.
