HACO (Harborfields Alliance for Community Outreach) is restocking its pantry and is asking for non-perishable food donations. Our lobby features HACO collection bins every day, allowing students to place items directly in the bin.

Most needed items: Cereal, Oatmeal, Cereal Bars, Pop-Tarts, Juice Boxes, and Pretzels.

Drop-off locations: TJL’s lobby or HACO’s new home at Old First Church, 125 Main Street, Huntington.

The Harlem Wizards are bringing magic to town, and students will get an awesome sneak peek tomorrow, October 14th, during special assemblies at school!

Your child can purchase items from the school store during lunch periods. If your child wishes to purchase something from the school store, simply have them bring cash in a bag or envelope. Items range from $1 to $5. All proceeds go to the TJL PTA!

Get ready to smile! Our 5th-grade Panoramic Class Photo will take place on Wednesday, 10/15. (Please note that this is a change from the originally scheduled day of 10/14).

Our TJL Read-In will take place 10/22-10/23. Thank you to our families that have signed up for a time slot! To support HACO: We will be collecting donations of non-perishable food items that are urgently needed for HACO (e.g. individually wrapped snacks, juice boxes, cereal). Please bring your non-perishable food donations to the HACO bins located at the TJL entrance, or you can drop them off during the Read to Feed event. Thank you for your support!

Please encourage your child to check the TJL Lost and Found. We have MANY sweatshirts that have been found. The Lost and Found is located in the TJL cafeteria. We will make announcements during the week as a reminder to all students.
