TJL Weekly Update

11/10-11/14

TJL
Good morning, TJL Families,

I hope you had a restful weekend. On Friday, our students gathered for our monthly Lion’s Mane Mission meetings focused on The Power of Our Words. Our No Place for Hate Student Ambassadors presented thoughtful skits that demonstrated how hurtful language can leave a lasting impact and how choosing kindness can uplift others. We reminded students to pause and think before speaking; words can heal, help, and include. Kindness is a superpower that we can all possess!

We’ll keep the momentum going as we celebrate World Kindness Day on Thursday, November 13.

Tomorrow (Monday), please wear red, white, and/or blue as we honor our veterans. School is closed on Tuesday, November 11th, in observance of Veterans Day.

Have a beautiful day,
Mrs. Washington
