Hello TJL Families,

What an exciting day at TJL! Today, every student went home with a 250th Semiquincentennial Passport Book, such a special moment for our school community.

We even had some surprise visitors, festive music, and a bit of history brought to life with John Adams and Martha Washington (who treated us to a flute performance!). A special thank you to 5th grader Joey DeRisi for leading us on the drums and helping make the day feel so memorable. Thank you to Mrs. Scarth and Mrs. Sena for putting this amazing activity together for our students!

We explained to all students that any Harborfields student who visits all fifteen (15) designated sites in the Town of Huntington and collects the required stamps will receive a special proclamation from the Town and be recognized at a Harborfields Board of Education meeting.

Completed passbooks must be submitted to the student’s principal by Friday, September 25, 2026. Proclamations will be awarded at a designated Board of Education meeting in the fall.
