Hello TJL Families,

Huge thank you to our amazing PTA for planning such a thoughtful and wonderful weeklong Staff Appreciation celebration! Our TJL staff felt so loved and appreciated, and we are incredibly grateful for the time, care, and generosity that went into making the week so special. Thank you to our PTA and to all of our families who contributed to bringing so much joy to our building. See pictures below!

We are excited to be collecting non-perishable food items for our own HF Food Pantry! The collection bins are in our main lobby.

We are looking forward to a great week ahead.

OMS STEAM Fair- May 21st

We are excited to share that Oldfield Middle School will be hosting their 5th Annual STEAM Fair on May 21st at 7:00 PM in the OMS Auditorium! This is a wonderful opportunity for our TJL students and families to experience the incredible world of science, technology, engineering, art, and math.

Students will have the chance to explore amazing projects, participate in hands-on activities, enjoy engineering challenges, and even see robots in action. It’s always a fun and inspiring evening, and a great way for our students to get a glimpse of what’s ahead at OMS.

We hope to see many of our TJL families there!

5/22 - Wear Green Friday- Mental Health Awareness

Throughout the month of May, our TJL school community is encouraged to wear green every Friday to recognize Mental Health Awareness Month. Green represents hope, kindness, and support for mental health and wellness.

By wearing green, we can help promote kindness, support for one another, and spread TJL pride! We invite all staff and students to join us each Friday in May (starting tomorrow!) by wearing green to show that mental health matters.

Safety Drill Notification

As part of our commitment to ensuring the safety and preparedness of our students and staff, we will be conducting a safety drill within the next week. The purpose of this drill is to ensure that everyone is familiar with our emergency procedures and can respond quickly and effectively in the event of an actual emergency.
