I hope everyone is safe and doing well after the stormy weekend!

We had a wonderful week at TJL as we wrapped up Start with Hello Week and came together on Friday to Go Gold for Childhood Cancer Awareness Month. It was a meaningful way for our students and staff to show kindness, connection, and support for others.

As we turn the calendar to October, we are looking forward to another enriching week of learning, growing, and connecting at TJL!

This week, we will be conducting an evacuation drill. These notifications are provided to help you, if necessary, have conversations with your child to ensure they feel comfortable and prepared. As part of our commitment to student and staff safety, we conduct various safety drills throughout the school year. The purpose of these drills is to help everyone become familiar with our emergency procedures and respond quickly and effectively should a real emergency occur.

Details of the Upcoming Drill:

We will have a meeting for room reps at 10am in the TJL cafeteria. If you are unable to attend, no problem...we will make sure you get the information. 

Plant sale pickup will be on Wednesday, September 30th from 3-6 PM on the TJL west lawn.

We are excited to partner with the HF PTA Council to bring the Harlem Wizards WizFit Challenge to our schools! This fun and engaging program encourages students to get active while working together to support our schools. We are looking forward to our Kickoff Assembly this Wednesday!
